Kolshet Road runs from the Balkum / Kapurbawdi side of Thane West towards Kolshet and the Thane Creek waterfront. It was historically an industrial belt and has been largely redeveloped into large residential projects.

Former factory land along Kolshet Road has turned into some of Thane’s larger residential developments, many with creek or hill views. It sits between Ghodbunder Road and Majiwada, so it is close to both the highway network and the established retail along the Eastern Express Highway.
